About us

Born in Syria. Looking beyond.

Three engineers from Syria, building the path we wish we had when we started learning to code.

Ideas are easy. Building is where they become real.

That is the one rule we try to live by: ship something useful, then make it better.

Where we come from

We are from Syria. Our origin is part of who we are, but it does not define the limits of where we can go. Our name says it: Syria, and Sirius, one of the brightest stars in the night sky.

Why we started

We started Syreus because Syria has talented people who deserve a real chance in tech, and we believe a strong generation of developers can grow from here. We teach in Arabic, point to the best resources in English, and care about skills that lead to real work.

Why learners

A strong tech community starts with its learners. Too many of them have the will but not the way: lost among videos, learning alone, with no one to review their work. So we decided to build that road for them, and to walk it with them.

The team

Three Information Engineering graduates from Syria: one who builds interfaces and solves problems, one who builds the backend with a background in AI, and one who builds interfaces and leads marketing and content. Between us, we build the platform and teach on it.

  • Mohammad Safwat Bilal

    Software Engineer

Information Engineering graduate of the University of Aleppo (2026), majoring in Software Engineering. Builds the platform’s interfaces and specializes in problem solving.

  • Yamen Ghajari

    Backend & AI Engineer

Information Engineering graduate of Damascus University (2024), majoring in Artificial Intelligence. Builds the backend and brings AI into the platform.

  • Ahmad Mahmalat

Information Engineering graduate of the University of Aleppo (2026), majoring in Software Engineering. Builds interfaces and leads marketing and content creation.

Let’s build beyond.
